The playground facilities at Xinhua Sports Park have undergone a complete upgrade, with old equipment replaced by a variety of new and innovative play features, including:
✅ Hillside terrazzo slide
✅ Small sandpit with washing facilities
✅ Climbing play equipment
✅ Accessible parent-child swing
✅ Small play hills
✅ Hopscotch and bouncing nets
The entire playground is covered with colorful EPDM rubber safety flooring, allowing children to run and play with greater peace of mind. The shock-absorbing surface helps reduce the risk of injuries from falls while adding bright and lively colors to the playground.
A big thank-you to the students of Zhengxin Elementary School and the teachers from the after-school program for enthusiastically taking part in the playground trial! Xinhua District Director Lee Yi-Lung presented the participants with small gifts as a token of appreciation.
All the children had a wonderful time trying out the new playground!
